* Beginner's Immersion:
A 3-week introduction to the form, and preparation for group mat, reformer and chair classes. This series familiarizes students with the very basics of Pilates matwork, reformer, and chair. Limited to 3 students for maximum personal attention, this series is not intended for people with injuries. Call for start dates.

How to Begin

The Foundation Training is the best option for clients new to Pilates. During your first four private lessons you will be introduced to the Pilates fundamentals, including proper breathing and engagement of the core muscles. These sessions incorporate matwork as well as the Pilates equipment. These are personalized lessons, modified to your individual needs and goals. Group mat classes complete the introduction and contribute to an independent understanding of the form. All classes are taught by fully certified instructors.

We recommend 2x/week minimum. New clients only, expires in 30 days.

  • Your first 4 private one-hour lessons: $220
  • Your first 2 weeks of group mat classes: $28
  • Beginner's Immersion (3-wks, 6 classes)$170

Special Focus Workshops

Men's Pilates: While diversity, in any class, is a valuable asset, there is also value in personalized attention. Men's Reformer classes offer a unique opportunity for men to train in focused and challenging ways. This is especially true for the beginner and the advanced Pilates practitioner. Men come to Pilates with different needs in regard to flexibility, center of gravity, and equipment usage. This class provides the foundation you need to self-modify in a mixed group and still feel that you are accomplishing something.

At the advanced level, both men and women benefit best from personalized attention. Pilates is not a competitive practice, and so being allowed a safe, yet challenging, environment is important. Morgan Moore has experience working with professional athletes in both rehabilitative and conditioning capacities.

Date of next series TBA. Taught by Morgan Moore, certified Pilates instructor.

Intro to Pilates 5-week series: A complete introduction to the Pilates form, and preparation for group equipment classes. This series will familiarize you with the very basics of Pilates matwork, reformer, and chair. For the injury-free client, this series is all you need to get started in a group equipment program.

Intro to the Pilates Body: This 5-week introductory series emphasizes knowledge of the skeleton (body awareness) as a concrete reference for your Pilates workout. Your skeleton is your structure. A huge building needs to have a strong structure to keep its “upright”. An active awareness of your bone structure helps to keep your upright posture and to have a great Pilates experience. We will learn the parameters of your own skeleton (visual, tactile, kinetic), and develop an inside-out understanding of Pilates fundamentals. Like the Intro to Pilates 5-week series, this class will prepare the injury free client for group reformer and chair classes.

Taught by Deborah Bayardino, PMA® Certified Pilates Instructor

Pilates for Cyclists: Regular cycling can result in the overdevelopment of leg muscles and neglect of the upper body. PILATES targets specific muscles to create an evenly developed body. CYCLING leads to repetitive stress and uneven development of musculature. PILATES offers an emphasis on overall strength and flexibility. Emphasizing CORE STRENGTH, PILATES develops the deep intrinsic muscles of the abdomen and spine, taking pressure off the superficial muscles. “Inner” strength training and focus on alignment & torso stability will support cyclists through a long ride.

Date of next workshop TBA. Taught by April Elder, LMT and certified Pilates instructor.
