How to Begin

The Foundation Training is the best option for clients new to Pilates. During your first four private lessons you will be introduced to the Pilates fundamentals, including proper breathing and engagement of the core muscles. These sessions incorporate matwork as well as the Pilates equipment. These are personalized lessons, modified to your individual needs and goals. Group mat classes complete the introduction and contribute to an independent understanding of the form. All classes are taught by fully certified instructors.

We recommend 2x/week minimum. New clients only, expires in 30 days.

  • Your first 4 private one-hour lessons: $220
  • Your first 2 weeks of group mat classes: $35
  • Introduction to Reformer Series (when available): $120

Special Focus Workshop

Pilates for Cyclists: Regular cycling can result in the overdevelopment of leg muscles and neglect of the upper body. PILATES targets specific muscles to create an evenly developed body. CYCLING leads to repetitive stress and uneven development of musculature. PILATES offers an emphasis on overall strength and flexibility. Emphasizing CORE STRENGTH, PILATES develops the deep intrinsic muscles of the abdomen and spine, taking pressure off the superficial muscles. “Inner” strength training and focus on alignment & torso stability will support cyclists through a long ride.

Date of next workshop TBA. Taught by April Elder, LMT and certified Pilates instructor.
